IF YOU WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT!!!

Until now, we’ve mostly been a golf site. But recently, I’ve taken off 55 pounds with a new diet, and am having no problem keeping my weight down.

I have discovered a natural indicator in my body that helps me eat properly. I have written a new book, titled ‘The System’, subtitle: AN EASY, NATURAL, CHEAP WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT AND NOT GAIN IT BACK. Seriously, I found this diet method, and, using it, have been able to lose my excess pounds. But the real news is that, since losing the extra weight, I’ve been able to stay slim. The reason I am not putting the pounds back on is that I’m still, happily using the diet. It allows me to eat any food I want, and never have to count calories or carbs. I don’t have to spend money on pills or special diet foods. I ate all my usual sweets and treats, and the weight came off and is staying off. The System is natural, easy, and cheap, so it is a way of life anyone can live with for the rest of your life. After using this system a short time, it gets easier and makes maintaining healthy weight an easy habit.

If you are interested, go to Amazon and look up the book, The System, by Fred Fields. The book costs $5.99 and is less than 25 pages. The Kindle (ebook) os only $3.99. If you are an Amazon member, you can borrow the Kindle for no charge…FREE. Seriously, you overweight people, this book can change your life. Finding the system has changed mine.

MORE ON THE COOKBOOK

THE MELTING POT COOKBOOK is going into its second month on the market, and sales are picking up. We got a couple of nice reviews on Amazon, and they have reduced the price for the introduction.

The book has a lot of things that separate it from the usual cookbooks found on the shelves today. Firstly, it was not written by a famous chef who is trying to enhance his reputation. It was written by a housewife whose goal was to pass along good recipes for an American housewife to prepare for her family or for special occaisions when she entertains family or friends.

Secondly, its recipes use common ingredients usually found in any kitchen, not exotic, expensive spices, etc. that must be found, used for one recipe, then never needed again.

The book has recipes for many cultural dishes, Chinese, Italian, etc. That’s why it’s called The Melting Pot, going back to the good old days when America was “The Melting Pot”.

Besides the recipes, this cookbook is filled with stories throughout which tell how the author came across many of the recipes.

And finally, there are many unusual dishes found in the book that will impress your guests, and have them asking you for the recipes. There is nothing that brings a smile to a cook’s face quicker than the approval of her peers, and their complimenting her by asking to copy her foods.

If you need the perfect gift for a young bride, believe me when I tell you this is the one. It will become her “go to” cookbook for the length of her married life.

Available on Amazon.com. Search for “Belle Fields cookbook” at the site.

IT’S EATIN’ TIME!!!

This week, we forget about golf, and think about our tummies.

EFCO Publishing has finally got my mother, Belle Serbin Fields’ cookbook published and available on Amazon.com. The title of the book is THE MELTING POT COOKBOOK! The name refers to the good old days of the American Melting Pot. You see, Mother was born in 1912, and is now 101 years old. She’s a 1930′s girl, coping with the 21st Century.

But her recipes are still good. For example, one of Mother’s axioms is that, “Every bite of cake deserves icing.” (You know the old expression, “It’s the icing on the cake.”) For this reason, all Mother’s cakes are  one layer, not, as she calls layer cakes, “high and dry”. And boy, what icings! Some of them are so rich that as you bite into them, you can feel your teeth rot! You can tell that I’m Mamma’s Boy. But don’t get me wrong, there are cakes good enough to go without icing, too

And it isn’t only desserts. It’s her 7-layered Jello mold which serves as a centerpiece on the table ’til it’s time to eat it.(At our house, Jello was a salad. It wasn’t rich enough to be a dessert.) And her triple salad dish for an appetizer.

Mother always thought that entertaining was a competitive sport, and these are some of the recipes she used to wow her guests. Your bride will be proud as punch when her guests ask for the recipes.

The book is available on Amazon.com, and we hope to overcome some problems and get it on Kindle soon. In the mean time, buy the cookbook for good eatin”.
